We all need a helping hand every now and then. Some think philanthropy is charity, benevolence of a kind or simply handing out cash to those in need.
It’s much more than this – it is part of the lifeblood of any human being with
the longing for a fulfilled life. Trust your instincts when your heart agrees.

What do PhilanthroPals give?
Time and experience and the “joy of giving a hand”.
PhilanthroPals like the idea of helping out with good advice, by making a useful connection, by providing elements of their own infrastructure – simply because they can. They give a hand to other Parental Pals, regardless whether they are part of their closer network or not, when they’re asked for their opinion or when they see that an offer would be very welcome and helpful.
And they appreciate the fact that within the ParentalPal network there are parents who come from social and intellectual backgrounds very different to their own; in part paying members like themselves and others as parents of young people who have been awarded membership through their ardent desire to be part of this world too.
PhilanthroPals take the wider angle of networking.
The Gobal Thinking Kid Award gives a year’s membership to the families of all kids whose contributions are approved for publication (ref. SchoolPal). They might not be in a position to afford membership otherwise, but their contributions are valuable and their opionion is an esteemed part of the overall exchange.
PhilanthroPals take joy in keeping up the conversation with them:
The synergy of altruism:
opening doors for others allows more light in for yourself too.
Parental Pals want their children to be able to move with grace in all social and cultural spheres. Philanthropals and the SchoolPal program make sure that allparticipants get positive exposure to the other side and with it: more sunshine.
